SCHOOL TRANSPORT SYSTEM

Students can avail the school transport subjected to the availability of seats. The routes of the school buses are planned up by the school and the parents should consult the school transport Incharge for necessary details.

Parents have to give their consent of taking the facility of transport, in the beginning of the session. Changes shall not be entertained in the mid of the session.

BUS RULES

1. All students using the school bus are expected to be on the right side of the bus stop, at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus. The buses will not wait for the late comers.
2. The children should stay away from the main road, until the bus arrives.
3. All students must occupy seats immediately after boarding, co-commuters are not allowed under any circumstances.
4. The drivers are authorized to stop buses at the designated stop only, unless directed by the Transport Incharge. The list of bus stop is prepared, keeping in view the convenience and safety of all bus commuters and is subjected to change.
5. When the bus is in motion, the students must not move around in the bus.
6. Students will be held responsible for any damage to the buses, caused by the negligence or vandalism.
7. Discarding of trash or food either inside or outside the buses is not permitted.
8. Unruly behaviour like shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behaviour is expected at all times.
9. The bus incharge and students-bus monitors are responsible for maintaining the discipline, in the buses. Any serious offence must be reported to the school office immediately.
10. No student will board the bus without the identity card.
11. List of students with their bus stops will be available in each bus.
12. Under no circumstances students are allowed to go behind or near the buses, parked in the school campus. Students are also not allowed to sit in the parked buses during the school hours.
13. If a student misses his allotted bus, he should not try to board any other bus. It is the responsibility of the parents to drop their ward to the school.
    However, the student may return by the allotted bus.
14. If due to certain emergency, a student leaves the school campus, during the school hours, by making his/her own arrangements, the following rules will be observed:

• A written request from the parent/guardian will be needed.
• Parent’s Identity Card should be produced.
• School Leaving Register should be signed.
• A permission slip should be obtained and same should be shown at the school gate before leaving the campus.

15. Strict action will be taken if above mentioned rules are not followed.
16. In case of self transportation parents and students are instructed to follow all the safety and other traffic rules.
